FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What is a public adjuster?
A. A professional who is licensed by the State of Florida to represent
YOU, the insured, on your insurance claim.
Q. Why should I hire a public adjuster?
A. The insurance company adjuster is paid by the insurance company
to protect their interests and follow their claims handling guidelines.
Their job is to agree settlement for as little as possible in
accordance with those guidelines. The less they pay, the bigger
the profit for
the
insurance company. Some insurance companies pay bonuses to their
employees. You need someone who will represent YOU and look out
for YOUR best
interest.
Q. What kind of claims do you handle?
A. We handle all Property Damage claims including: Collapse,
Fire, Flood, Hail, Hurricane, Lightning, Mold, Sinkhole, Theft,
Tornado,
Vandalism,
Water, Wind, Business Loss of Income and Extra Expense, as
well as many others. So give us a call for a FREE consultation.
Q. What if my claim has been denied?
A. The adjuster or insurance company may show you in the policy
or quote policy language stating why your claim is not covered,
but that
does
not mean they are correct. Many of our clients originally
had their claims denied until we were retained to represent them.
We will review
your
claim and if we believe your claim is covered, we will fight
for you as we have for so many others, successfully.
Q. What if my claim has already been settled? Can it be reopened?
A. Yes, in most cases. We are able to reopen a claim up to
five years from the date of loss!
